The performer

New for 2012,  the performer is the new standard all round performance shortboard, offering speed control and maneuverability in all waves from 2ft onshore to 6ft barreling waves this is the board to go to...
The performer was designed with team rider Ben Bennett for surfing in contests and taking on the all the conditions the ocean can through at you.
the board has single to double concave with the double pulled back to the center fin,  along with this the board has a reasonable amount of rocker for surfing in the pocket and slightly fuller rail
this board will take your surfing as far as your body will allow you
sizes available - 5’6 to 6’6
wave sizes - 2ft to 6ft

ability - intermediate to pro

This new model ‘the mop top”  is the newest in the performance range at NT

designed with team rider Jordan Dean the mop top delivers a high performance feel along with ease and squirt in slightly slacker waves,
taken from the ML1.5 of last year this board has had the tail slightly widened and the nose slightly pulled in....this gives the feel of a highly maneuverable board wile in the pocket and out on the flats.  the board has a pronounced single concave with a very subtle double, this is to make sure the board doesn't suck into the waves when smaller.  the rails are pulled up slightly for cutbacks and airs to prevent rail digs
the board has a slightly lowered entry rocker to counter the pulled in nose so not to remove the paddling ability of the board
sizes available - 5’4 to 6’6
wave sizes - 2ft to 6ft
ability - intermediate to pro

This board is designed from the well known Al Merrick Neck Beard
With light single concave and vee out the back, this board is faster down the line, has increased rail-to-rail transition, and is more stable when landing airs. Super user-friendly, this is the board Dane grabs when its 1-foot to head-high.
sizes available - 5’4 to 6’
wave sizes - 1ft to 4 ft
ability - intermediate to pro

THE PERFORMER PIN
this board is basically the same the Performer but with a pin tail and slightly increased nose rocker.
the board is designed as a step up for the bigger or hollower waves, with the pin tail for hold and slightly increased rocker for the later drops and steeper waves
the board has single to double concave along with this the board has a reasonable amount of rocker for surfing in the pocket and slightly fuller rail
ride this board 2 to 4 inches bigger that your normal shortboard
the same or 1/8 to a 1/4 inch narrower
the same to 1/8 thicker
sizes available - 5’8 to 7’
wave sizes - 4ft to 8ft
ability - intermediate to pro

SQUIDDLY DIDDLY.....new for 2012
The Squiddly Diddly is a pretty crazy looking board,  it’s main feature is the side cut  that runs from the wide point down to a pronounced hip behind the front fins.
The side cuts in the plan shape come into their own when the board is put onto rail, and causes the water to travel past the side cuts in the plan shape which allows  the board turn on a tighter radius without effort. This  also allows the board to draw tighter smooth arcs in everyday conditions and when the waves aren't quite doing it, wile all this is happening around the tail of the board, the front of the board, the front half of the board is very forgiving, and also give heaps of plaining speed when not on rail and racing down the line!
This board that is really forgiving in the front half of the board but has a extremely reactive and sensitive feel off the tail end for maximum performance. at first the board feels very strange and different from conventional shortboard but once you have had a few waves and got the feel for it there is a lot of fun to be had.
ride this board the same of 2 to 4 inches shorter than your normal shortboard and the same or 1/4 to 1.2 an inch wider than than you normal shortboard
sizes available - 5’4 to 6’2
wave sizes - 2ft to 6ft
ability - intermediate to pro

  2. so does NT surfboards have anything to do with Northern Territory by chance? I am gonna be in Darwin soon, and looking to buy a board before I head to Sri Lanka and India, I know Darwin is the last place in AUS to find surf (or boards) but I have been searching for a cheap or used board to pick up before I sail out of there. If you have any ideas let please post back. BTW you art looks really good, and the quirk looks fun, can you do the quirk in quad fin?
